Jony Lim

Jony is an experienced sustainability strategist with a strong foundation in sustainability science, finance, and economic analysis. He demonstrates a proven track record in sustainable finance, environmental stewardship, and policy evaluation. Jony’s professional experience includes NGO work in the UK and data governance expertise at Maybank, the 4th largest banking group in ASEAN. His educational background includes a Master of Finance from Peking University, a Master of Sustainability from the University of Malaya, and earned distinctions from the Nebraska at Oxford program at University of Oxford, offering a global perspective and multidisciplinary expertise. Jony also obtained the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) Certification from Corporate Finance Institute, while currently serving as a Curriculum Committee Member, Department of Science and Technology Studies, UM. His facilitation of corporate investments from both U.S. and Chinese firms, while conducting market research, financial feasibility analysis, and end-to-end support aligned with FDI policies, drives impactful and sustainable corporate expansion into ASEAN.

Anton Loong

Anton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance with a sub-major in Business and Banking Law from Monash University, Australia. With over 20 years of experience in private banking, Anton has cultivated deep expertise in serving ultra-high-net-worth clients across Asia, while ensuring adherence to the continuously evolving compliance requirements set by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). As a licensed Capital Market Services professional in Singapore, Anton founded an office dedicated to providing tailored wealth management solutions to elite clientele. His career reflects a commitment to innovation and excellence in the financial services industry, shown through the unwavering integration of cutting-edge technology into his portfolio management practices. In response to the growing urgency of climate change and global warming, Anton has expanded his focus to environmentally sustainable investments. As an advisor to Carbon Next, he is actively involved in championing ESG-aligned investment strategies and driving progress toward global carbon net zero.

Dr. Chuang Kwang Li

Dr. Chuang Kwang Li has vast experience and knowledge in many fields: R&D, technical consultancy, corporate business management, academia, and startups. His career (includes NASA, key member in both of Malaysia’s pioneer private and public satellites, etc.), with senior leadership roles – technical and commercial, and in both private and public sectors straddling both USA and Malaysia – spans across diverse high-tech industries such as Aerospace & Defense; Telecommunications, Automotive, Structural Design, Civil Engineering Construction, and institutions of higher learning. His national service, for twenty years, included serves on a multitude of advisory panels and committees for three Malaysian government ministries. He was also a Past Chairman of SAE International (Society of Automotive Engineering International), Malaysia Group.

He obtained all four of his degrees – in Aerospace Engineering, and in Civil Engineering, from University of Southern California, USA. Dr. Chuang, who advocates environmental sustainability, and is a Certified Carbon Management Leader, has been for 20 years frequently serves as an advisor in social, commercial, community, and environmental projects. Dr. Chuang’s commitment to Carbon Net Zero stems from his belief in creating a sustainable legacy, driving his active involvement in Carbon Next’s carbon tax and compliance technology solutions to propel global climate action.
